Ladies and gentlemen: Alert the media...It's our twentieth episode! And what better way to celebrate it than by recording it in a place where we've been time and time again. That's right, the world famous Colony Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida. In this not-so-historic episode Lyman serenades you dear listener (and me), with a little ditty on his ukulele and he sings too! Kevin discusses the phone interview he did with the wonderful Robyn Flans on her podcast "Robyn Flans Drummer Interviews” and since he was so ill prepared when recording said podcast and couldn’t remember the link here it is for you: https://www.spreaker.com/user/rfdi/kevin-winard.
Lyman and Kevin weather a storm LITERALLY while driving back from Miami with mutual friend Tia Shaffer in tow. Lyman went to his sister's wedding in Hawaii and Kevin once again goes to Costco.

After a two month hiatus Lyman and Kevin are back coming to you once again from beautiful Palm Beach, Florida! In this episode Lyman has travel woes, buys a phone charger and loses his credit card. Kevin discovers the employee cafeteria at the Colony Hotel and talks about his latest purchase-a new couch set! The guys then discuss what it would have been like to win the Powerball and if they would still play low paying jazz gigs if they suddenly became multi millionaires.

Lyman and Kevin sit down with dear friends Rich and Jill Switzer who have been tearing up the Palm Beach and South Florida music scene for years with their talent. They also have a morning radio show playing The Great American Songbook on Legends 100.3 FM in Palm Beach, FL. Their show can also be streamed at http://legendsradio.com/. AND the guys were lucky enough to have the ever amazing Darryl Tookes be in town visiting family and so he stopped by to join in on the interview. Darryl's resume is like a who's who of some of the biggest names in the music industry: Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, David Foster, Patti Austin, Rod Stewart, Sting, Christina Aguilera, Leonard Bernstein and many others!

The music world loses Jazz Trumpet legend Lew Soloff and the guys in Steve Tyrell's band (Lyman, Kevin, Bob and Quinn), pay tribute to him sharing hilarious and heartfelt stories of life on the road with this one of a kind dear friend and talent. Lew's studio and live performance career was beyond illustrious having recorded and or toured with the likes of Barbra Streisand, Frank Sinatra, Gil Evans, Blood, Sweat & Tears, The Manhattan Brass Quintet, The MIngus Big Band, The Carla Bley Band and countless others. We all miss him dearly.
